I've been interested in fitness all my adult life, starting with teaching skiing and snowboarding full-time for 22 years. An injury and some life changes allowed me to move into fitness training and gave me the gift of more time for Yoga practice. I've now been a Yoga teacher for 14 years and love that its many styles make it available to every body! I am an E-RYT 300, registered with Yoga Alliance. Whether I am teaching a hot Power Yoga class, or bringing Chair Yoga to an office, or balancing the flow on a paddle board, I am inspired by the benefits and joy yoga always brings to my clients.
Karen has been providing Personal Training, Yoga and Holistic Wellness Coaching services to the people of Northern Utah since 2012. She is very passionate about staying healthy inside and out through exercise, yoga, meditation, and eating a healthy diet.
Karen loves teaching others the endless benefits to developing a regular yoga practice. Yes, you will benefit physically, but another huge plus is the mental benefit it provides as well. Yoga nurtures the body, mind and spirit completely. By finding balance in your life, creating awareness, and discovering yourself through yoga you will find how much easier it is to truly enjoy life and who you are. It creates happiness and peace within.
When Karen isn't teaching yoga, she loves to be in nature, spends time with her 2 dogs, Maggie and Murphey and loves to paint.
Lindsey was first introduced to yoga at the age of 18 when a disk injury prevented her from walking or standing for more than five minutes at a time. In combination with a discectomy procedure Lindsey turned to yoga and witnessed its strong healing power. In 2013 Lindsey completed her RYT-200 hour yoga teacher training certification at Moksha Yoga Center in Chicago, Illinois. Since then Lindsey completed her RPYT-85 hour pre and postnatal certification through the Amala School of Prenatal Yoga as well as a restorative yoga certification through The Yapana Way, taught by Leeann Carey. Lindsey’s teaching is greatly influenced by traditional hatha yoga, vinyasa flow, power yoga and restorative styles of yoga. Lindsey likes to create classes that challenge students to use their bodies, breath and minds to strengthen, focus and ground themselves in the present moment.
