Brandi is a registered yoga teacher in San Antonio, TX.
Crystal Martinez is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS). Growing up, she danced as a way to feel free and let go but something still seemed empty. She was introduced to yoga initially because she wanted to gain my flexibility back after having her daughter, it was mostly physical. Finding yoga 8 years ago brought meaning into her life and created an awareness that she'd never known. Initially, Crystal became certified to teach a fun, music driven, yoga and pilates group fitness class called Bodyflow at a local gym which she still teaches today. Then she received her Yoga certification through YogaArt, studying with Maya Sokovic, a highly knowledgeable practitioner. Having been trained with a combination of Hatha, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Yin, Nidra and Vinyasa along with the modern science of physiotherapy and neuroscience, she gives students a strong foundation that can be applied to any teaching style. But it also goes much, much deeper exploring the many dimensions of the yogic philosophy and lifestyle. Her favorite classes to teach are Yin yoga, getting really deep, and Vinyasa, moving with the breath and creating heat. She will always be a student seeking ways to deepen her practice, expand her knowledge and continuously learn from teachers, and also from students. Yoga is her daily medicine and her passion is to motivate and encourage others to live a life of wellness and health on the journey to the self. Let’s move the body and free the mind.
Liz is a certified Hatha, Vinyasa, Children’s, and Prenatal yoga teacher. In 2015 she received her first yoga certification (RYT 200) in Vancouver, British Columbia in 2015. After years of studying, attending, and leading yoga classes her perspective of what a "practice" can be has shifted. For Liz yoga is more than just teaching postures. She strives to share the physical and metaphysical wisdom that you can practice on and off the yoga mat. Since 2017 she has specialized in Prenatal yoga (RPYT), and in 2018 added Children's yoga to the mix! Aside from teaching yoga, you can find Liz hiking at a state park, playing with her pups, or enjoying a good book.
Marissa Harris has been in the health, fitness, and wellness industry for over 17 years. One of the areas of fitness that she particularly enjoys is Yoga. She was certified through YogaFit, and began teaching Yoga in a corporate setting at USAA in 2002. She has kept this practice in her personal and professional fitness journey ever since. Marissa enjoys helping people find their pace, notice their breath, and rediscover their greatest potential throughout their own yoga experience. She firmly believes that healing begins when we learn to give ourselves grace and permission to be present in our own bodies. She cannot wait to share this journey with you on the mat!
