With over 20 years spent in corporate environments, I first came to yoga as a way to alleviate anxiety and stress, but soon realized that yoga also has a way of changing almost every aspect of one’s life – for the better. As a self-professed over-thinker, I soon discovered that there is no better way to live in the present moment than to be with oneself on the mat.
I received my 200 hour RYT certification from Everyone Yoga School in Tulsa, OK, and I realize that this training is just a drop in the bucket – there is so much in the world of yoga to explore, from asana practice to philosophy and everything in between.
I’m a native Southern Californian, but have lived in Tulsa for many years. While not practicing or teaching yoga, I work as a freelance writer and blogger. I frequently dream about the ocean, and often pretend that there is a beach in Bixby. .
